Dr Steve YoungMin

Steven is a Consultant Rheumatologist in Portsmouth. He qualified from Oxford University and trained in Rheumatology in the Northern deanery. His PhD research was in early rheumatoid arthritis. In Portsmouth, he is clinical lead for ankylosing spondylitis and osteoporosis services and also has an interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He plays an active role in medical education, contributing to conferences and courses for both health professionals and patients. He regularly lectures on BMJ masterclasses and RCGP courses.

Outside medicine Steven keeps fit by running and his ambition is one day to beat his wife in a marathon.
