Clinical features of cardiac tamponade
Possible clinical features include:
- hypotension and shock
- pulsus paradoxus
- inaudible or distant heart sounds
- distension of neck veins
- Kussmaul's sign
- confusion
Patient's with acute cardiac tamponade classically present with Beck's triad.
