Syndromes
There are a massive number of syndromes which result in failure to thrive. They include:
- chromosomal disorders, including Turner's syndrome and Down's syndrome
- intrauterine insults, including foetal alcohol syndrome and congenital infection
- skeletal dysplasias
- Bartter's syndrome
