Paper money skin refers to the presence of numerous small blood vessels scattered randomly throughout the skin, apparently resembling the silk threads in America dollar notes.
It occurs in a similar distribution to spider naevi i.e. in the distribution of the superior vena cava, and may indicate underlying liver disease.
