  • maternal antiretroviral therapy
    • antiretroviral monotherapy
    • combination antiretroviral therapy
    • intrapartum antiretroviral therapy
  • pre-labour, pre-rupture of membranes caesarean section

  • infant antiretroviral therapy prophylaxis

  • formula feeding rather than breastfeeding

  • maternal antiretroviral therapy during breastfeeding

  • infant nevirapine therapy during breastfeeding
