Biceps tendon (avulsion injury)
This is an uncommon injury in which the distal attachment of the biceps tendon is avulsed from it's insertion on the radial tuberosity. Active elbow flexion is painful.
Surgical reattachment of the tendon is indicated only in early presentation where the muscle has not retracted too far from the elbow.
