Drug-induced proximal myopathy
Drug-induced subacute proximal myopathy may be caused by:
- diamorphine
- alcohol
- clofibrate
- chloroquine
- quinine
- lithium
- emetine
- corticosteroids
- any drug causing hypokalaemia, e.g. diuretics
