Physiological tremor
Physiological tremor is a 10-12 Hz tremor that is of low amplitude.
Other features include:
- aggravation by anxiety, posture, movement
- possible relief by relaxation, anxiolytic drugs.
- major site of this kind of tremor is the hands.
- possible associated features include:
- hyperthyroidism
- tachycardia and sweating
- no incoordination
- no rigidity
