Bone and soft tissue tumours
This section concentrates on malignancies arising in tissues that have been derived from the mesenchymal layer of the embryo, ie connective tissue, bone, muscle, fat, blood vessels and blood cells and lymph nodes.
Malignancies of connective tissue, bone, muscle or fat are termed sarcomas.
