Summary of clinical features
Diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis is characterised by:
- Raynaud's phenomenon
- onset of skin involvement within 1 year of Raynaud's
- truncal and acral skin involvement
- tendon friction rubs
- interstitial lung disease
- renal failure
- nailfold telangiectasia
Immunological investigation may reveal:
- anti-topoisomerase-I antibody
