Clinical features
Clinical features which are of special note in minimal change disease are:
- normal renal function
- normal blood pressure
- normal complement levels
- nephrotic syndrome with selective proteinuria:
- [albumin] > [globulin]
- minimal or absent haematuria (never macroscopic)
- liability to infections:
- pneumococcal peritonitis
- urinary tract infections
