Complications
The complications of respiratory tuberculosis include:
- pleural effusion
- empyema
- pneumothorax
- laryngitis
- enteritis
- mycetoma with Aspergillus fumigatus in a healed cavity
- cor pulmonale secondary to extensive fibrosis
- death
