Retrocalcaneal bursitis
- clinical features
- pain, erythema, swelling between the calcaneus and Achilles tendon
- tender to direct palpation
- management:
- decrease pressure to affected area
- anti-inflammatory/analgesic medication
- corticosteroid injections (preferably ultrasound-guided)
