Inflow tract (right ventricle, anatomy)
The inflow tract of the right ventricle is marked by a surface roughened by numerous trabeculae carneae. It lies inferiorly within the chamber and projects to the apex on the left.
Posteriorly and to the right is the atrioventricular orifice and the tricuspid valve. Its superior boundaries are demarcated by the septomarginal trabecula and the supraventricular crest.
