Isoenzymes
Isoenzymes are enzymes which catalyze the same reaction, but differ in their amino acid sequence. An example is that of the prostatic and tissue-specific acid phosphatases which share only 50% amino acid homology.
They are classified according to structure and electrophoretic mobility.
