Refering to the reader
Referring to the reader should be avoided. The end user, unlike in this section, should not be referred to as you. The end user is any of a very wide group of people from a number of specialities. To refer to "you" creates an alienation. It is better to refer in the third person: the physician should, the general practitioner should.
