Clinical features of medium PE
Possible clinical features include:
- pleuritic chest pain, breathlessness, fever, productive blood-streaked cough
- possible signs of pleural effusion, pleural rub, or localised consolidation
- medium-sized emboli may be clinically silent except for tachypnoea
