Osler's nodes
Osler's nodes are red, raised tender nodules usually 5 mm in diameter on the pulps of toes or fingers. They may also occur on the thenar or hypothenar eminences.
They are thought to be due to the deposition of immune complexes. They are an uncommon sign of infective endocarditis.
