Nonatherosclerotic coronary artery lesions
There are four non-atherosclerotic lesions which can cause ischaemic heart disease:
- emboli to the coronary arteries
- arteritis (e.g. Takayasu's, Kawasaki's, lupus erythematosus and polyarteritis nodosa)
- cocaine abuse
- trauma
