The pericardiophrenic artery:
- is a branch of the internal thoracic artery on each side that originates at the level of the lower margin of the manubrium
- runs with the phrenic nerve
- supplies on route:
- phrenic nerve
- pleura
- pericardium
- diaphragm; minimal contribution
