Factors associated with a poor prognosis
- ACS within 5 days after STEMI:
- heart failure
- previous MI
- previous chronic stable angina
- diabetes mellitus
- hypotension
- arrythmias
- pulmonary oedema
- development of mitral regurgitation or ventricular septal defect
- left ventricular aneurysm or dilatation
