Clinical features
The physical examination of a patient with Type 2B hyperlipidaemia is typically unremarkable, with no specific physical findings associated with the disorder. If present, they can include:
- an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (such as hypertension, peripheral arterial disease, or carotid bruits)
- xanthelasma
- corneal arcus
