  • hypocalcaemia
  • septicaemia, especially in the generalized form
  • hyperthermia
  • liver damage
  • acute renal failure
  • malnutrition

There is also evidence to suggest that psoriasis is associated with an increased prevalence and incidence of diabetes and obesity, particularly in patients with severe psoriasis (2) as well as a link to depression and suicidal ideation (3)
