Results
There were fewer cardiovascular events in the group of patients in which treatment was guided by N-BNP concentrations as compared to the group in which treatment was guided by clinical acumen.
At six months the proportion of patients who had suffered a cardiovascular event was:
- 27% in the N-BNP group
- 53% in the clinical group
