Food precipitated abdominal pain
Abdominal pains precipitated by food include those caused by:
- gastric ulceration, typically ten minutes after food
- biliary colic, which patients find is most commonly precipitated by fatty foods
- chronic mesenteric ischaemia
- rarely, gastric carcinoma
