Parotid haemangioma
An haemangioma is the commonest tumour of the parotid salivary gland in infants. The tumour is soft, compressible and often bluish. It is often accompanied by an overlying cutaneous haemangioma.
They almost always undergo natural resolution and as such, are not interfered with. If they have not resolved by school age, operative intervention is considered.
