Labia minora
The labia minora are thin folds of skin which lie medially to the labia majora.
Anteriorly the labia minora divide to surround the clitoris, forming:
- the prepuce of the clitoris superiorly, and
- the frenulum inferiorly
Hair follicles are absent but some sweat glands are found.
The labia minora are sensitive and contain some erectile tissue.
