Azotaemia
This is a biochemical disorder in which plasma levels of urea and creatinine are increased.
Azotaemia is usually caused by a reduced glomerular filtration rate.
When azotaemia is accompanied by certain abnormal clinical findings a diagnosis of uraemia may be made.
