Lymphadenopathy in Hodgkin's disease
The following statements are characterstic of lymphadenopathy in Hodgkin's disease:
- two thirds of patients present with cervical lymphadenopathy
- lymph nodes may or may not be tender
- alcohol related pain is rare but recognized
- 20% of patients present with axillary or inguinal lymphadenopathy
- there may be generalised lymphadenopathy
