  • usually asymptomatic
  • sometimes:
    • dysuria
    • vaginal discharge
    • lower abdominal pain
  • there may cervicitis and proctitis

Complications include:

  • a similar range to gonococcus, including:
    • bartholinitis
    • parametritis
    • salpingitis and pelvic inflammatory disease
