Are there signs of acute laryngo-tracheobronchitis (croup)?

  • if yes then humidify and observe
  • if unsure then perform a lateral neck radiograph:
    • if the radiograph is normal then treat for croup
    • if the radiograph is abnormal read under "acute respiratory arrest"
