Sound and feeling after knee injury - did the patient feel or hear a 'pop' or 'shift' in the knee?

  • a 'pop' classically occurs with rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) (1)

    a 'shift' can occur with ACL rupture or patella dislocation (2)
