Causes in young adults
Causes of ataxic and spastic paresis in young adults are:
- multiple sclerosis
- spinocerebellar degeneration
- Arnold Chiari malformation, or other lesion at the craniospinal junction
- syphilitic meningomyelitis
- chronic adhesive arachnoiditis
