Treatment
Hydroxycobalamin therapy improves peripheral nerve damage but the improvement in spinal cord function is not always significant. The treatment is given by intramuscular injection (initially 1mg repeated 5 times at intervals of 2-3 days; maintenance dose 1mg every 3 months).
