Pseudovernal conjunctivitis

This may arise from prolonged use of contact lenses, especially soft lenses. The clinical features resemble those of vernal conjunctivitis.

Contact lens wear should be discontinued for 2 or more weeks, and the lens care regimen should be reviewed and changed to a preservative-free lens care system.
