V1 - 4th intercostal space, right of sternum

V2 - 4th intercostal space, left of sternum

V3 - midway between V2 and V4

V4 - 5th intercostal space, in the midclavicular line

V5 - same level as V4, at anterior axillary line (between V4 and V6)

V6 - in 5th intercostal space, in the midaxillary line
