Mivacurium

Mivacurium is a non-depolarising muscle relaxant with a bisquaternary ester structure. It has an extremely short duration of action (15 minutes). Care must be taken over injection. Excess histamine release is common if injection is too rapid; a recommended time course for injection is 5-15 seconds. Tachycardia is a common side effect.
