Chronic neutrophilic leukaemia is a very rare form of chronic myeloid leukaemia characterised by:

  • peripheral blood neutrophilia, without immature forms
  • raised neutrophil alkaline phosphatase

CNL is autonomous and should be distinguished from a secondary leukaemoid reaction.
