Infantile eczema
This is a condition which usually becomes manifest by about 3 months of age.
This condition fluctuates in severity. Often it resolves by puberty.
The mainstay of treatment is the frequent use of emulsifying ointments. Steroid based creams/ointment may be required for severe episodes.
