Clinical features
There may be an acute presentation with possibly:
- vague right upper quadrant abdominal pain
- postprandial bloating, nausea and vomiting, and anorexia
- tender hepatomegaly
- ascites
Or, the syndrome may present chronically with possibly:
- hepatomegaly
- splenomegaly
- mild jaundice
- ascites
- portal hypertension
- negative hepatojugular reflex
