Heart sounds (ejection)
These are caused by the opening of the aortic and pulmonary valves.
These sounds are high pitched and often described as clicky. They occur in early systole and are best heard with a rigid diaphragm chest piece.
Mitral valve prolapse causes mid- or late- systolic clicks.
