Radiological appearance of secundum atrial septal defect
- enlargement of proximal and distal pulmonary vessels and subsequent plethora, in left-right shunts of greater than 2:1
- large left-shifted heart
- usually there is right ventricular dilatation
- large main pulmonary artery
- small aortic knuckle
- normal sized left atrium
