this is a distinctive condition in which numerous intensely itchy, pin-head papules develop some 10 minutes after sweating (during physical exercise, taking a bath, raising the body temperature, and during emotional stress)
typically it can be seen in young adults
susceptible individuals show an exaggerated response to the introduction of ACh derivatives to the skin (1)
severe attacks are followed by a refractory period of 1-2 days. Some times it may be associated with by angioedema and anaphylactic reactions (1)
