Methotrexate - monitoring in general practice
Monitoring methotrexate therapy in psoriasis includes:
- full blood count every three months and more regularly with changes in therapy (e.g. 2 weekly till stable, then monthly then three monthly)
- liver function tests 2-3 times a year (a transient increase in lft's is of little significance)
