Investigations
Blood glucose should be estimated immediately with a BM test.
Blood should be taken for laboratory measurement of:
- blood glucose
- full blood count
- electrolytes and urea
- serum thyroxine and TSH
- blood cortisol
- growth hormone
- arterial blood gases
