Temporal branch of facial nerve
The temporal branch of the facial nerve originates within the substance of the parotid gland. It crosses the zygomatic arch to supply all the facial muscles on route to the forehead including:
- occiptofrontalis
- corrugator supercilli
- procerus
It may also innervate orbicularis oculi.
