Borrelial lymphocytoma
- a rare skin manifestation of Lyme disease
- characterized by a painless bluish-red nodule
- predominantly seen in children
- typical sites of borrelial lymphocytoma are:
- localized on the ear lobe,
- nipple, or
- scrotum
- usually there is a preceding or concomitant erythema migrans
- antibiotic therapy generally leads to resolution within several weeks
