Clostridial infections include:
- botulism, caused by Clostridium botulinum toxin
- gas gangrene, caused by Clostridium perfingens (welchii), and other Clostridia
- pseudomembranous colitis, caused by Clostridium difficile
- tetanus, caused by Clostridium tetani
