Effect of gonorrhoea on pregnancy
Gonorrhoea can cause problems for both the pregnant woman and her baby including: (1)
- intrauterine growth retardation
- prematurity
- prolonged rupture of membranes
- chorioamnionitis
- postpartum endometritis
- postpartum sepsis
