Syncope associated with significant cardiovascular disease (CVD)
Syncope is a feature of patients suffering with the following chronic cardiovascular disorders:
- aortic stenosis
- pulmonary hypertension
- pulmonary stenosis
- mitral stensosis
- hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- coronary heart disease
Changing murmurs suggest:
- atrial myxoma
- ventricular mural thrombus
